Teacher Transfer Process

IMPORTANT UPDATES FROM THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT

Voluntary Transfer (for Teachers only) Instructions:

 

This year we are moving to an electronic process for accepting Voluntary Teacher Transfer requests. With this process, we are hoping to provide a simple and efficient means for our teachers to apply for a voluntary transfer. Teachers interested in applying for a transfer must complete an Internal Application online and apply to the appropriate job posting by April 29, 2022. By applying through this portal, you are agreeing to the transfer to another school in the district by request of that school’s principal in Teach in Alabama.

Additionally, you must be selected by the principal of a school and recommended to Human Resources for transfer. A transfer is not guaranteed and Human Resources retains the right to reject a transfer based on program needs. If you are seeking to transfer for the 2022-2023 school year, please read and follow the instructions below.
